TIU Group celebrates 36 years with 20% growth over 2025 and estimated revenue of more than €143 million

The TIU Group is celebrating 36 years of activity in Romania’s technology solutions market and estimates revenues of more than €143 million for 2026, representing a 20% increase compared with 2025.

This growth is mainly driven by the development of activities in intelligent transportation systems, installations and construction, as well as trust services and digital security. During 2025–2026, the Group’s companies have won and are currently executing major projects for Romania’s transport, healthcare and energy infrastructure.

ALTIMATE is accelerating its growth in 2026 and estimates revenues of €34 million, almost double the previous year’s figure.

The company has completed the implementation of intelligent transportation systems in Râmnicu Vâlcea and Târgoviște and has expanded the integrated traffic management system in Pitești. In Reșița, it commissioned weigh-in-motion systems for vehicles, using its proprietary modular UTMS platform. It has also completed the installation of a passenger information system at public transport stops in Ilfov and is working on expanding the parking management system at Henri Coandă International Airport.

ALTIMATE has implemented, for CNAIR, automated systems for measuring the dimensions of road vehicles, as well as an IT solution for the National Traffic Management Centre, enabling the integration and processing of data from motorways, expressways and national roads.

Through the projects carried out in 2026, UTI Construction and Facility Management has strengthened its position as a leading integrator of installations and systems for critical infrastructure, carrying out works for Bucharest Metro Line M6, the Cluj Metropolitan Train, the Cluj Palace of Justice, the Cluj Emergency Children’s Hospital and the Iași Regional Emergency Hospital. The company is also involved in the modernization of the terminals at Henri Coandă International Airport and the airfield lighting system at Burgas Airport (Bulgaria), as well as the electrical infrastructure at the Port of Constanța.

At the same time, UTI CFM continues its investment program focused on skills development, process digitalization and the expansion of its technical capabilities to meet the increasingly complex requirements of critical infrastructure projects.

certSIGN continues its upward trend in 2026, delivering projects in its areas of expertise: digital identity, trust services and cybersecurity. The company is actively contributing to Romania’s preparations for the European Digital Identity Wallet (EUDIW). The infrastructure developed by certSIGN includes digital identity issuance through its proprietary certME solution, advanced authentication and electronic signatures compliant with the eIDAS 2.0 Regulation, and has been validated as part of the interoperability test organized in Bucharest by the Cloud Signature Consortium.

In the area of cybersecurity, certSIGN supports organizations in Romania in complying with NIS2 requirements, including through the implementation of the Cybersecurity Support Action program led by ENISA.

For Trident Servicii și Mentenanță, 2026 is the year in which it strengthens its position as a leader in X-ray scanning systems for airports. The company has installed state-of-the-art CT scanning systems at Henri Coandă International Airport and Băneasa Airport and is carrying out a similar project for Chișinău International Airport, marking the company’s first major international project.

Trident SM has implemented electronic access systems, including E-Gates, for Brașov Airport, commissioned a modern video surveillance system for the Nuclear Fuel Plant in Mioveni, and is participating in the modernization of the fire protection systems at the terminals of Henri Coandă International Airport.

Electroproiect, a TIU Group company specializing in the design and technical assistance of installations, is involved in projects in the airport sector, including at Henri Coandă, Băneasa and Constanța airports. For Henri Coandă International Airport, it is designing the modernization of the instrument landing systems. The company is designing the traffic automation and safety systems for the extension of Metro Line M4, as well as modernized electrical power supply systems for the Port of Constanța. Electroproiect has also carried out the feasibility study for upgrading the physical protection system of the Feldioara Uranium Concentrates Processing Plant.

The company also provides technical assistance and design services for several healthcare facilities, including the Cluj Regional Emergency Hospital, Tecuci Municipal Hospital and Vrancea County Hospital.
